Description botanique
The commercial lengths are reported to vary from 8 to 19 m, with a diameter of 60 cm in the average. The logs are straight and cylindrical, with buttresses up to 4 m tall.
Répartition naturelle
B. huberi is found in the Brazilian Amazonia, it is reported in the Tapajos National Forest in the Para state.

Paratracheal axial parenchyma scanty and/or vasicentric. Axial parenchyma aliform. Axial parenchyma confluent. Prismatic crystals in non-chambered axial parenchyma cells. Styloids and/or Rays more than 10 per mm (abundant). Rays exclusively uniseriate. Crystal sand in ray cells. Prismatic crystals in the ray cells. Prismatic crystals in the ray cells. Occasionally heterogeneous rays and/or multiseriate heterogeneous rays. Body ray cells procumb Fibers with simple to minutely bordered pits.
