Description Of The Tree

Botanical Description

It is a small to medium-sized tree up to 25 m tall. The bole is usually rather straight, up to 50 cm in diameter.

Natural Habitat

In the Philippines it is often found in secondary forests at low and medium altitudes and on cliffs near the sea.

Non Timber Uses

The bark contains scopoletin.
