Description Of The Tree

Botanical Description

It is a large tree up to 54 m tall. The bole is branchless for up to 30 m. It is 100 cm in diameter.

Natural Habitat

Nageia wallichiana grows scattered in primary lowland and montane rain forests. It is usually found on sandy soils, from the sea level up to 2,100 m of altitude.
