Axial parenchyma in continuous tangential lines (included in reticulate and scalariform). Paratracheal axial parenchyma scanty and/or vasicentric. Axial parenchyma aliform. Rays of two distinct sizes. Rays as wide or wider than the pores. Larger rays width 0. 1 mm or more and 2 mm or more in height. Rays less than 4 per mm (rare). Sheath cells. Workability

Sawing

Dry timber is easily sawn and dressed. Green timber saws easily although surface are fibrous and the bottom of the cut stringy.

Rotary Veneer Cutting

core veneer kauseuti is similar to silky oak. It can be turned on a lathe, but the large rays give rise to slightly roughened surface.

Sliced Veneer

core veneer kauseuti is similar to silky oak. It can be turned on a lathe, but the large rays give rise to slightly roughened surface.
